The Power of a Fresh Start

Why do people enjoy making New Year’s resolutions? There is something very attractive about the idea of a new start. A blank page opens a world of possibilities. Should you try to start anew?

Starting with a blank slate is a good idea in many cases. It frees us from the burden of having failed before. It gives us the opportunity to try something again and again until we get it right.

If we start anew, it doesn’t mean that we will ignore our existing experience. In fact, we can analyze it and learn from our mistakes. What made us stop last time we tried? What went wrong? How can we avoid it now?

At the same time, we can use a fresh perspective that comes with a new start. It can provide a new way of looking at things and make us more sensitive to different ideas that we might not have noticed before.

In between your last try and now, you have learned and grown. This gives you a good chance of achieving success.

Learning from the past gives you a better opportunity for success. A fresh perspective means that you won’t get stuck worrying about past mistakes.

A blank slate is inspiring. Take advantage of this motivation and commit once more to your goal. You can do better the next time around.

No matter how many times you have tried, you can always try again. There is nothing that disqualifies you from starting anew, maybe tweaking a few things to work better.

Even if you didn’t make it before, it doesn’t mean you won’t make it now. Every try gives you new insight and prepares you to start over.

Don’t limit yourself. Approaching something as a blank slate means that you won’t get bogged down in past mistakes or problems. Treat each opportunity as the first one from an emotional perspective. Learn, do better, and try again.
You always can find a fresh start, no matter what happened before.

“A fresh start is not a new place it’s a new mindset”

“Hit the reset button. Whatever happened yesterday, forget about it. Get a new perspective. Today is a new day. Fresh start, begins now.”
